Yeah the Gangus thing really took me by surprise. You would have been there when I was. Cool. I only started looking for work this january. After my initial job hunt after college was no success I put the head down got a full time job and worked on my stuff for 2 years. Now I ended up in evolution studios after going through semag. I got lucky
Yeah ahd to move to Warrington, Uk. It was crazy I was fed up of my full time job in a bank in sept. I decided to get off my ass so I moved to night work as I had 9 days off in a row each month. So from then till january I never really left my apartment just worked a lot. Then jan had enough and sent off a lot of reels. Got a lot of no s until this one. I almost took a job in another company glad I did nt.
Best advice is aim a well thought out reel showing a good understanding of the basic skills. Good advice from college its quality over quantity. Look at current games aim to hit that standard.
After that its apply apply apply !!! Just hope your in the right place at the right time. Luck is good
